Over the last three months the DSWT/KWS Sky Vets program has continued to deploy rapid veterinary intervention throughout Kenya for the treatment of injured wildlife, especially endangered and threatened species. During November 2013 to the end of January 2014, Kenya Wildlife Service Veterinary Officers from Nairobi have been flown to many different locations throughout Amboseli, the Masai Mara, the Chyulu Hills, Tsavo and the Lake Naivasha region. In total 24 cases were treated during this reporting period including 12 elephants.
