The orphans and their Keepers, as seen through the lens of Richard Phibbs — and now available to you through a very special fine art fundraiser!
Last November, world-renowned photographer and animal rights advocate Richard Phibbs travelled to our Nairobi Nursery and Ithumba Reintegration Unit. Now, Richard Phibbs Studio is offering a limited print sale of these beautiful photographs, the proceeds of which will be donated to our conservation work here in Kenya. For purchasing details, please contact the studio directly.
"I have always believed in the power of the still photograph. It is my sincerest hope that every photograph I take has a greater purpose, ultimately lessening suffering and shining a light on those doing good in the world. In this often dark world, the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, and the work they do rescuing and raising orphaned elephants and rhinos, has inspired me and brought me so much hope for humanity. My goal was to take photographs that illustrated the miracle of Sheldrick Wildlife Trust. This portrait series offers an unstudied yet profound glimpse into the orphans’ daily life. They have all experienced incredible hardship, but now their lives are defined by happiness."

Our enormous, heartfelt gratitude to Richard and his team — and to everyone who so generously supports this special print sale.
