This special documentary tells the emotional story of orphaned elephant Aisha and Dame Daphne Sheldrick, who became her human foster parent.

 Featuring previously unseen archival footage and present day interviews with Dame Daphne and Angela Sheldrick, the program brings home the difficulties faced in hand raising a milk dependent orphaned elephant, when it had never been done before.  The emotional depth of feeling of elephants and humans comes to the fore in this journey that Aisha and Daphne shared, the hard lessons learned have since helped save more than 150 orphaned elephants in the care of Daphne and The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust. Please find a link to Aisha's story here
