For the Love of Elephants will air at 8pm October 14^th 2010 on  CBC’s The Nature of Things.   (Canada)  It will air again on Thursday 21st October at 10pm on ET/PT on the CBC News Network. 

This film takes an intimate look at the elephant-human bond that is formed between the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust’s elephant Keepers and the orphaned elephant babies. Through hard work, love and dedication, you can watch the Trust’s team create a unique human-elephant family and nurture the orphaned elephants for up to 10 years until they return to the wild.

Narrated by David Suzuki, the film takes viewers inside the emotional world of baby orphaned African elephants and their compassionate keepers.
