The SWT/KWS Tsavo Mobile Veterinary Unit attended to 14 cases in total. These included 3 lion cases, 9 elephant cases, 1 zebra case, and 1 giraffe case.
Light showers fell in a few areas within Tsavo in August 2023. However, many parts of the Tsavo Conservation Area remained dry.
