Last month the DSWT’s Community Outreach Program sponsored five children for secondary education from impoverished communities within the Tsavo Conservation Area giving them the opportunity to carry on their education, which they otherwise would never have had the chance to do due to financial restrictions.
The program also saw sports equipment donated to several schools within the Tsavo Conservation Area, whilst the team carried out seven fully sponsored school trips for schools to Tsavo West National Park, hosted three wildlife video shows, and installed fourteen additional beehives on the new elephant-beehive fence in the Kyusiani community bordering Tsavo East.
