Findings

The Team started by patrolling the Trust land and its surrounding areas. We were pleased to see that there is an increase in the amount of wildlife in the Trust land. When we patrolled the surrounding community areas we lifted 31 snares. Of the snares lifted only 1 targeted medium sized game. The rest of the lifted snares targeted small game. However the snares were old and had not been checked on in a while which led us to believe that they had been abandoned by the poacher that set them.
