January was expected to be dry as it usually the start of the dry season. Fortunately, this has not been the case as the month has been rainy and cooler than expected.
This is thought to have been contributed by the spill-over of the wet season possibly by the initial delay of the start of rains at the end of 2021. The ecosystem thus is very sufficient to the wild animals as it is full of browse and quench.
