    With the Nairobi Nursery almost bursting at the seams from the influx of new orphaned baby elephants rescued in the last couple of months, the decision was made to transfer three of the older Nursery orphans to the Ithumba stockades in Tsavo East National Park. (read more)

  1. The Rescue of Kinango - 8/15/2012

    At around 4pm on the 11th August a call was received about a tiny newborn elephant calf discovered by KWS personnel in the Kwale area outside of the Shimba Hills National Park. (read more)

  1. The Rescue of Kwale - 8/8/2012

    On the 7th of August we were contacted about an elephant rescue from Nyalani in Kwale. This is an area on the coast of Kenya opposite Diani outside of the Shimba Hills National Park. (read more)
