THE DE-SNARING PROJECT: FARU TEAM BURRA

Area of Operation:
The Faru team is based from Voi, Tsavo East National Park and covers the boundary from the Tsavo Riverto Buchuma gate, (Along the Nairobi Mombasa main road). The team also cover the ranch lands that form the vital corridor between Tsavo East and West National Parks.
Team Description:
The Team leader is Moses Simiyu, and his team members are John Wahome, Daniel Lelekiten, Peter Kariuki and Peterson Kihara. On patrol they are accompanied by Kenya Wildlife Service rangers at all times. This team is funded by the Cullman Foundation.
