THE DE-SNARING PROJECT: NDOVU TEAM ITHUMBA

Area of Operation:
The Ithumba Team is based at Ithumba, the Headquarter's for the Northern Area of Tsavo East. The lengthy northern boundary is covered by this team, along with sensitive areas within the Northern Area of Tsavo East National Park for example the Tiva river and Gazi areas.
Team Description:
Ithumba's team leader is Henry Lekochere, and his team members include Pilis Lekeele, Pais Ledonyo,Manien Kiperus Singanga, Edwin Mungai, Stephen Mutuku Musyoka. The team is accompanied by Kenya Wildlife Service armed rangers while on patrol.
